Sandbags Available for Weslaco Residents
WESLACO – Officials in Weslaco want their residents to be prepared in case of another flood.
Sandbags that were left over from June’s flooding are available throughout September for Weslaco residents.
The bags are being distributed at the city hall parking lot.
The limit is six bags per residence.
Because it is self-service, residents should bring a shovel to fill the bags.
