Sinkhole in Harlingen Residential Area Patched Up
HARLINGEN – A sinkhole that opened up in a Harlingen residential area was patched up this week.
The road is expected to reopen Friday, according to Harlingen WaterWorks System.
On Tuesday, crews were called out to the area around Haverford Boulevard and Aragon Drive.
A worksite supervisor told CHANNEL 5 NEWS the sinkhole was likely caused by a leaking utility pipe that washed away soil.
