South Padre Island Officials Urge Residents to Sign Up for Emergency Alerts
SOUTH PADRE ISLAND – Officials in South Padre Island are urging residents to sign up for their emergency alerts in case of a hurricane.
The city has a notification system called ‘Swift 9-1-1’.
The warnings can be sent to homes phones, cellphones and emails.
