Student Makes Bittersweet Discovery at Brooks Co. Burial Site
FALFURRIAS – The search continues for many families of loved ones who are lost or died crossing the border illegally.
Texas State University is trying to bridge the gap working to determine the fate of the missing.
Anthropologists and students with “Operation Identification” have dug at burial sites in Brooks County containing remains of the unknown.
The project unexpectedly hit close to home for one student when finding out the identities of the remains they unearthed.
