Suspect Arrested for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle
HARLINGEN--A suspect is now charged with burglary of a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana.
The car burglary happened earlier this month on the 2000 block of N. G Street in Harlingen. Harlingen police were searching for 19-year-old Miqueas Rene Martinez Jr. for weeks after identifying him as the suspect through surveillance video.
He was arrested Thursday. Martinez's burglary of the motor vehicle charged was enhanced to a state jail felony because of a prior conviction.
A second suspect is also charged in this case.
