Texas nursing homes struggle with expenses during pandemic
It’s been more than five months since Texas saw its first coronavirus case.
Nursing homes across the state have been ground zero. Facilities that weren't necessarily built for a pandemic now house at-risk patients.
In Cameron County alone, eight nursing homes accounted for 380 of the county's coronavirus cases.
All nursing homes are faced with higher costs as a result.
