Travel Trailer in Edinburg Catches Fire
EDINBURG--A travel trailer was left in ruins after a fire tore through it Sunday night.
According to Edinburg fire chief Shawn Snider, the trailer on Verbena and Orchid caught on fire around 7:30 p.m. The fire is now out. The Edinburg fire department was able to save a nearby mobile home before it caught on fire.
No one was hurt, but three people were displaced. Edinburg fire is putting them up for the night.
Snider said the fire appears to be electrical. He sakd the Hidalgo County fire marshal's office is investigating whether an electrical cord hooked up to the main power supply might have played a role.
