Valley Law Enforcement Agencies Swarm Home, Investigation Ongoing
MERCEDES – Several Rio Grande Valley law enforcement agencies raided a home in Mercedes.
Mercedes police, Homeland Security Investigations and the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office stormed a home near Garza Street and W 10th Street Wednesday morning.
A CHANNEL 5 NEWS crew saw a woman being escorted away from the house in handcuffs.
Mercedes Police Chief Olga Maldonado says the scene is still under investigation.
