Valley Native Back Home After Aiding in Victoria Evacuation
RANCHO VIEJO – A woman living in Victoria made it home this week.
Amanda McGinnis-Rodriguez was in Hurricane Harvey’s path. She’s originally from Rancho Viejo.
During and after the storm, Rodriguez had little to no contact with her family. She said she didn’t evacuate because she’s a school teacher and wanted to make sure all students were out safely before the storm.
Now, she’s back home safe with her family in Rancho Viejo waiting until she can go back to her new home in Victoria.
