Valley Veteran Nominated to Attend Bill Signing in Washington, D.C.

HARLINGEN – A Rio Grande Valley veteran was nominated to attend a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs bill signing in Washington, D.C.

The Mission Act allows veterans to access non-VA care if they need services that are not offered by the VA or if approved by their doctor.

KRGV’s Sierra Pizarro spoke with the veteran who has used a similar program called the Choice Program.
