Valley Woman Seeks Answers after Receiving High Water Bill
SAN BENITO – A Rio Grande Valley woman is looking for answers after receiving a high water bill.
Dora Aguiar says she gets her water from Military Water Supply and noticed a difference.
"I was always paying from $40 to $39 and $43 and now it went to $68 the prior month and this month it was $98,” she says.
She says her neighbors have also seen a difference.
A CHANNEL 5 NEWS crew noticed her meter reading on the bill is much higher than the reading on the actual meter.
KRGV’s Angelo Vargas reached out to the company for answers.
The general manager, Ramon Rosales, explains he can’t speak on specific customers and further explains they do look at the possibility of human error.
