Victims in Shooting near Fronton Identified
FRONTON - Starr County authorities identified the three victims involved in a fatal shooting near Fronton last week.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office said all three are in the U.S. legally.
Enrique Ramirez, 56, and Jose Roberto Pena, 31, are permanent residents. Both were injured in the shooting and are still in the hospital.
U.S. citizen Adrian Espinosa, 17, was killed in the shooting.
Authorities said the three victims are related.
The investigation into the motive of the shooting is ongoing.
