WESLACO- Weslaco police have identified a driver accused of aggravated assault on a peace officer. 

Adan Loa Jr. is facing multiple counts. 

Dash cam video from Weslaco PD shows officers responding to a call of a man who fell asleep behind the wheel.

Loa allegedly refused to turn off his truck and fled from the scene. 

Police say when he took off, he hit a patrol unit and injured an officer.
