Weslaco Woman Wants Better Drainage to Avoid Harm to Family
UPDATE (8/30): A Weslaco resident is planning to speak with the city about installing a drainage inlet on her road.
The Weslaco Planning Department tells us she needs to speak with someone in the department in person.
Mardoqueo Hinojosa of the City of Weslaco planning department says an evaluation must be complete.
WESLACO – A Weslaco woman wants better drainage on her street to avoid any harm to her family.
Mara Padilla-Vasquez says there aren’t any drainage inlets on her road.
She’s worried about the potential dangers during hurricane season that could affect her daughter, grandchildren and her 91-year-old mother.
