MCALLEN - For the last time this season, Valley volleyball players took the hard court in the RGV All-Star showcase. The West All-Stars swept the East All-Stars 3-1 in all three matches.

Players from the West and East talked about their experience from All-Star weekend.

"It's fun to play with girls that you've been playing against for four years straight and girls that you played with outside of school, and especially to come back home to Rowe and play like our last high school game," Rowe's Bianca Ramirez said.

"Before I mean I've only played against them so it's been really good to get all the players together and just work together and come together as a team," Hanna's Ryann Wood said.

"Really fun it's exciting this environment getting to play with all the teams in your district coming together it's really awesome this opportunity," Pioneer's Audrey Smith (Texas Tech commit) said.

"It was great getting to know these girls. They're all very talented and I ended up making great friends so it was really fun," Brownsville Veterans' Cassie Valdez said.
