WESLACO – Four men arrested for a Progreso double murder pled not guilty in court on Monday. 

The four suspects were arraigned in court for the March shooting. They’re accused in the deaths of 23-year-old Juan Gerardo Casares and 49-year-old Jose De Jesus Cano.

Investigators said shots were fired during an argument at the 600 block of Martinez Street in Progreso.

All four men are expected back in court for a pretrial later next month.
