HARLINGEN – A man arrested during a traffic stop in Harlingen has been charged.

Police say 49-year-old Floribeto Andraca was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

On Sunday, Andraca was pulled over for tailgating another vehicle with the tractor-trailer he was driving.

Officials say he became increasingly nervous while they interviewed him.

During a search of the cab, a K-9 officer found more than 16 pounds of cocaine stashed inside a duffle bag.

A judge set Andraca’s bond to $75,000.
