WESLACO – Love and romance can be found pretty much anywhere, even at a retirement home.

After 63 years of marriage, a couple says they’re still each other’s best friend. Patricia and Jim Titus say they were married within nine days of knowing each other, blaming it on the butterflies in their tummies at the time.

They had five children and said it wasn’t always easy. The Titus say struggle makes a relationship stronger. Jim says the way they got through life challenges can be explained by their first Christmas together.
