EDINBURG - The search is on for one of two suspects allegedly involved in a pair of crimes in Edinburg. 
     The first incident took place around 6 p.m. at the TJ Maxx near Trenton Road and Canton Road. Edinburg Assistant Police Chief Oscar Trevino tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS two adults were reportedly shoplifting when they were approached by a security officer. A male suspect stabbed the guard three times with an unknown object. The security officer suffered minor injuries. Police officers were able to detain the male suspect. 
     Police say a female suspect was able to leave the scene and drive away. Moments after leaving the store, the woman was involved in a hit and run crash. The Edinburg Police Department is currently looking for her. CHANNEL 5 NEWS is working to learn more about the suspect on the run.
