LA JOYA – Multiple law enforcement agencies raided an illegal gambling establishment in La Joya.

Authorities executed a search warrant at the business located on Leo Ave south of Highway 83 on Thursday night.

Several individuals were arrested on gambling charges.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office along with the Hidalgo County Fire Marshal’s Office and the state comptroller’s office aided in the operation.
