Boil water notice lifted in the city of Roma
The water in the city of Roma is now safe to drink and use right out of the faucet, according to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
A boil water notice in the city was lifted on Tuesday, nearly a month after it was issued. The boil water notice was made after the state found that the water in Roma has had high levels of turbidity — or cloudy water — since August 2023.
