BROWNSVILLE – The city of Brownsville announced partial road closures for a resurfacing project along Central Avenue.

The road work will take place from Tuesday, Apr. 2 through Friday, Apr. 26 between Highway 48 and Austin Road.

The city says Central Ave. “will remain open for travel with extreme caution.”

Drivers must comply with traffic signs and barricades placed for their safety.

Delays may occur, so drivers are being told to plan their commute ahead of time.
