CBP Officers Make $376K Drug Bust in Starr Co.

ROMA – U.S. Customs and Border Protections officers arrested a 33-year-old Mexican national after discovering alleged methamphetamine and cocaine inside a van. 

On Thursday, CBP referred a brown 2002 Ford Windstar van to secondary inspection at the Roma-Miguel Aleman International Bridge. 

Officers subsequently discovered five packages of meth and 10 packages of cocaine concealed within the van. The drugs' street value is estimated to be more than $376,000.

CBP arrested the man and then released him to Homeland Security Investigations.
