Charges Dropped Against Edinburg Officer Accused of Official Oppression

EDINBURG – Charges against the Edinburg police officer accused of official oppression and tampering with a government record have been dropped.

According to the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office, a grand jury issued a “no-bill”.

Officer Armando Celedon was charged with official oppression and tampering with a government record in July.

A grand jury did not find enough evidence to move forward on the charges.
