Saturday Safari: River Giants

Dec. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the South Texas Discovery Education Center, Gladys Porter Zoo

Enroll your child for Saturday morning fun at the Zoo.You can join, too! Lurking among the plants in the water is a master hunter ready to pounce and devour an unsuspecting fish. A Zoo tour, arts & crafts, animals encounter and snacks are included in each class. Cost is $15 per child or adult with a $5 discount for Zoo members. Pr-registration is required and space is limited.

Saturday Safari: Toys for the Animals

December 9th at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the South Texas Education Center, Gladys Porter Zoo

Enroll your child for Saturday morning fun at the Zoo. You can join, too. Help them make "toys" so that they can get their daily exercise and then watch them play. A Zoo tour, arts & crafts, animal encounter and snacks are included in each class. Cost is $15 per child or adult with a $5 discount for Zoo members. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

Saturday Safari: Pets 101

December 16th 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at South Texas Education Center, Gladys Porter Zoo

Enroll your child for Saturday morning fun at the Zoo. You can join, too!  Are you ready for a pet? Come learn from the animal experts about taking care of animals. Get your pet animal questions answered at the Zoo. A Zoo tour, arts & crafts, animal encounter and snacks are included in each class.
