MCALLEN – Authorities found about $380,000 worth of methamphetamine during a traffic stop which took place on Friday.

Department of Public Safety troopers found the drugs wrapped around the suspect’s waistline.

The confiscated drugs weighed in at about four pounds.

The passenger was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance.

The suspect was transported to the Hidalgo County Jail.
