EDCOUCH – An Edcouch man faces up to 20 years in prison after being charged with arson.

According to court documents, this January Joel Mejia Garcia threw a Molotov cocktail at a vehicle in Edcouch city limits.

Garcia was charged with arson.

If he is convicted, in addition to the 20 years, Garcia could face a $10,000 fine.

He’s due back in court on October 4.
