Edinburg Doctor Accused of Medicaid Fraud Scheduled for Trial Early Next Year
EDINBURG – An Edinburg doctor charged with Medicaid fraud is set to be in court at the beginning of next year.
Osama Nahas is a general internist at Crosspoint Medical Clinic in Edinburg.
He is accused of presenting a Medicaid claim for services that were not performed under the correct supervision of a physical therapist. Those services allegedly total at least $200,000.
Court records show the crime happened over a three-year period beginning in 2009.
Nahas is out on bond.
