FEMA's New Strategic Plan to Prepare for Hazardous Situations

MCALLEN – Recent weather events across the state have the Federal Emergency Management Agency launching a new strategic plan.

FEMA Region 6 Director Tony Robinson is responsible for directing and leading the agency in Texas.

He met with Rio Grande Valley emergency and state responders at the 2018 South Texas All Hazards Conference on Wednesday.

Robinson expressed FEMA is improving community needs and also working with their partners to reduce the complexities of the federal program.
