MCALLEN- A hearing for a contested McAllen Independent School District school board election is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

Tony Forina defeated Gina Karam Millin in the Trustee Place 4 race in May by 12 votes.

Millin filed a petition in June claiming the school district promoted Fornia during the election.

The hearing is set for 2 p.m.
