MCALLEN – A Hidalgo County sheriff deputy was terminated Friday following his arrest in McAllen on Wednesday night.  

McAllen police say Robert Sanchez Jr. is charged with theft of a local business.

He was arrested along with two others.

The sheriff’s office announced the termination following an internal investigation.
