Independent Beer Distributors Relief Fund and L & F Distributors Donate $55,000 to Local Non-Profits

Corpus Christi, Texas - The Independent Beer Distributions Relief Fund and L & F Distributors announced they would be donating $50,000 to local non-profits

in the Coastal Bend area.

"The damage that was left behind by Hurricane Harvey is indescribable," said Val Peisen, IBDRF Board Member and manager at L & F Distributors. "We have been working with IBDRF to try and identify local non-profits whose mission is to help rebuild the Coastal Bend area."

IBDRF has identified five organizations in the Coastal Bend area: Rockport- Fulton Chamber of Commerce, $15,000; New Day Port- A, $15,000; Ingleside Chamber $10,000; Aransas Pass Chamber $10,000 and Coastal Bend United's Boots and Business BBQ, $5,000. Each of these organizations is dedicated to rebuilding the Coastal Bend area and providing assistance to local businesses who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.

L & F Distributors and their sister company Favorite Brands donated $50,000 to the Independent Beer Distributor Relief Fund and made it a priority to ensure those funds went directly to local non-profits.

"It's one thing to see the devastation that Hurricane Harvey left behind on TV, it's an entirely different emotion to see in person," said Tony LaMantia, manager at L & F Distributors. "This is our home and the people who have been affected are our friends, family, and business associates. Watching our community come together and rebuild our cities is an incredible thing to witness, we are just happy to play a small roll."

IBDRF is a non - profit corporation established by independent beer distributors throughout Texas and United States. They have raised nearly $300,000 for disaster relief efforts in  Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.
