Local, State Law Enforcement Upping Patrols during Labor Day Weekend
WESLACO – State and local authorities will be cracking down on traffic violators during the Labor Day weekend.
Dozens of local law enforcement agencies will also be looking out for drunk drivers, including “impaired drivers, speeders and safety belt violators”, per a Department of Public Safety press release.
Officials stress no-refusal enforcement will also be in effect until Monday, Sept. 3.
A search warrant will be obtained for drivers who refuse a Breathalyzer or a blood sample.
