HIDALGO – A man was sentenced after being caught with 60 bottles filled with meth but disguised as tea.

The 29-year-old U.S. citizen says he didn’t know what was in the bottles. He says he was paid $1,000 to bring the bottles through the Hidalgo Port of Entry.

The drugs weighed about 45 kilograms and are estimated to be worth about $2 million.
