UPDATE (5/2): A temporary traffic light has been installed at the intersection of 2nd Street and Dove Avenue. 

This light should alleviate traffic in the area until a permanent foundation and signal is replaced.

MCALLEN – A new signal pole and foundation will have to be installed at a McAllen intersection following a crash.

The crash took place at the intersection of 2^nd Street and Dove Avenue Sunday morning.

Signals will be off and the intersection will become a four-way stop until June 5.

Motorists should use caution when traveling in the area and expect delays until the light is replaced.
