MCALLEN – The city of McAllen voted in favor to grant the respite center a conditional use permit.

The permit is for their new location on South 15^th Street in downtown McAllen.

It will allow the center to hold and process immigrants.

There is no set timeline for this, according to the city’s spokesperson.
