Mexican National Arrested Following $347K Cocaine Bust in Pharr Bridge
PHARR – U.S. Customs and Border Protection say over $347,000 in alleged cocaine is now off the street.
According to a press release the agency issued out Monday, last Thursday, a white 2003 Honda Accord LX was sent to a secondary station for inspection at the Pharr International Bridge.
During the search, CBP officers found 17 packages containing 45 pounds of alleged cocaine.
The drugs were seized along with the vehicle.
The driver, a 47-year-old female from Reynosa, was turned over to Homeland Security Investigation.
