Mission Mayor to Keep Seat following Court of Appeals Ruling
MISSION – A decision has been made in regards to the battle over Mission’s mayor seat.
The Court of Appeals ruled the current mayor, Armando O’Cana, should keep the seat.
Mission’s former long-term mayor, Beto Salinas, lost last year’s race but filed a lawsuit alleging voter fraud and won.
A judge ruled the election void last October.
O’Cana appealed the decision and won.
No word if Salinas plans to take the decision back to court.
