ELSA – An Elsa man was charged over the weekend in connection to an ongoing narcotics investigation.

Police arrested and charged 47-year-old Oscar Dorantes with the manufacture and deliver of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Authorities executed a search warrant at the 500 block of North Fannin Street.

Officials say they recovered powdered and crack cocaine. They also seized scales and packaging materials.

A judge set Dorantes’ bond to a combined total of $155,000.
