Police Arrest Suspect Connected to Whataburger Robbery in Elsa
ELSA – The armed man who allegedly robbed a Whataburger in Elsa on Thursday morning has been arrested.
Officials say they arrested 22-year-old Wyatt Castillo, of Edcouch, Thursday night.
Investigators followed leads that helped them identify Castillo as the armed suspect in the case. A warrant was issued and officials took him into custody without incident.
Officers discovered evidence related to the aggravated robbery in his vehicle and residence.
Authorities also believe Castillo was involved in a convenience store robbery in Elsa on Oct. 29.
Castillo is facing two counts of aggravated robbery.
