On Thursday the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD School Board of Trustees named Dr. Jorge Luis Arredondo, as the “Lone Finalist” for the PSJA ISD Superintendent position.

Dr. Arredondo is currently employed as Area Superintendent for the Houston Independent School District located in Harris County, Texas.

It is anticipated the new superintendent will begin work on Oct. 1, 2019.
