EDINBURG – The RGV FC Toros dropped their inaugural match at HEB Park, falling 3-0 to visiting C.F. Monterrey Wednesday night.

The Rayados scored 18 minutes into the match, and added another score in the 32^nd minute for a 2-0 halftime advantage.

The Toros gave up another score after the break to conclude the international friendly.

The Valley’s pro soccer team returns to HEB Park Sunday for their USL opener against San Antonio FC. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
