BROWNSVILLE – The Texas Department of Transportation will close a portion of FM 511 beginning on Tuesday for road repairs.

The affected area is FM 511 southbound from TX-48 to FM 802.

The closure will begin July 17 at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to end August 16.

Signs will be posted for drivers to use alternate routes.
