PORT ISABEL – A Port Isabel couple was charged after police found a small child unattended while they were “passed out on the floor”.
Police responded to a welfare concern call on the 400 block of Adams Street around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
Port Isabel police say they contacted Child Protective Services. The child was immediately removed from the parents' custody.
