Authorities Recover Body Found in South Mission

MISSION – Authorities were finally able to reach a body that was discovered on Monday south of Mission.
Boats and all-terrain vehicles were used in the recovery.
Officials say it’s the body of an adult male and it was found on land, not in the river.
They add muddy terrain made recovery efforts difficult.
An autopsy is pending.
