CON MI GENTE: 52 Alligators Now Call SPI Home

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND – The South Padre Island Birding Center is the new home to 52 alligators.

The birding center is now a gator sanctuary. The alligators came from Gator Country in Beaumont, Texas.

The sanctuary is open to the public.
