CON MI GENTE: Improvements on San Juan Basilica nears Completion

SAN JUAN – The scaffolding surrounding the bell tower of the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle is one of the first things you would notice.
It’s all part of an effort to improve the 40-year-old shrine.
After working on the bell tower, workers will work around every stone and re-grouting every block of the Basilica.
The renovation work should be finished by the middle of September.
