DONNA – Donna ISD’s school board voted to terminate the district’s police chief last week.
The attorney for the school said Roy Padilla was placed on administrative leave with pay pending an internal investigation into the department.
Padilla was allegedly let go for violations of policy regarding personnel matters, violations of court orders, violations of state law, improper implementation of police department programs and several ethical concerns.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS reached out to Padilla for comment. We have yet to hear back.
