El Salvador Man Passes Through US Port of Entry

WESLACO – A Salvadorian man seeking asylum used an alternate method to enter the U.S., which the Department of Homeland Security is attempting to crack down on.
On his third attempt to enter the country, he brought his son along with him and was let through.
DHS implemented a zero-tolerance policy in April to prosecute those entering illegally.
The reason he was let through at the port of entry is unknown.
