Family Receives Dream Home through Local Program

BROWNSVILLE – A Rio Grande Valley family just received a new home through a local program.

The Community Development Cooperation of Brownsville, along with the Texas Bootstrap program, helped them to get into a new house.

The program requires the residents to help to build the home.

They are responsible for about 65 percent of the work.

KRGV’s Rudy Mireles spoke with a family who just completed the process.
